Brown Shoes With Navy Suit

Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

My wife and I will be attending a wedding. I have one suit, navy, and the only dress shoes that I own are brown. My wife is not sure if that is okay. I don't want to spend money on new shoes.
