Retractable Screen Door Best

Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

My husband and I cannot seem to agree on a screen door. We need a screen door to keep the house cool in the summer and keep the bugs out. We have a leaded glass door in our front entry. Are there any screen doors that are appropriate for an entry?

Instead of having a traditional screen door, you can install a retractable screen door. As the name implies, the screen retracts out of sight when not in use and easily pulls out when needed. Your beautiful leaded glass door will not be obscured by the screen door.

The retractable screen is similar to roll-up blinds, but works vertically for a door screen. The screen retracts into a housing attached to your wall or door frame.
