Lance Armstrong is a cancer survivor and champion cyclist winning the Tour de France a record seven consecutive years. Yellow is the color of the jersey given to the leader in the Tour. According to Lance Armstrong's website at www.livestrong.org, yellow is a symbol of hope, courage, and perseverance.

The yellow wristbands are engraved with Lance Armstrong's mantra, LIVESTRONG. Wearing the wristband supports the Lance Armstrong Foundation programs of education, advocacy, public health, and research.
