Whenever we go out to eat and I bite into a dinner roll, the crumbs fall all over me. There must be an easier way to eat such a simple thing like a roll. No one else seems to have this problem, or a least they don't think there's a problem with crumbs on them.

Dear Feeling Crumby,
The proper way to eat bread or a dinner roll is to tear off a bite-sized piece and then butter that piece. In addition, bread crumbs will fall onto the bread plate instead of you.
